Why we started RTW~
Hi RTW Community! I’m Kristen, originally from Toronto and now based in LA. I never imagined I'd run a marathon, but after some encouragement (and a bit of a push), I found myself in training. My first attempt was derailed by injury, but after six weeks of rehab, I came back strong and finished the OC Marathon in 3:45.
Fueled by that success, I dove into marathon training with renewed focus. My efforts paid off with a 3:25 finish at the Mesa Marathon and a 3:20 at the LA Marathon.
I created Run The Weekend because I know how overwhelming marathon training can be. With so much advice scattered across TikTok and Google, I wanted to offer a better way. RTW is a 3-day camp where you’ll get direct access to industry experts and all your burning questions answered. Let’s make your marathon journey smarter and more enjoyable—together!

Booking a 60-minute session with just one of our speakers typically costs $300 – roughly the price of our entire weekend.
Taking on a marathon can be daunting — but it doesn’t have to be. Our goal is to make the professional expertise of endurance running more accessible. With a strong foundation to build from, your journey to the start line can be enjoyable and rewarding.
